About thepaperpunk

The Paperpunk is a channel devoted to making clean and well-animated graphic videos, based primarily around books, comic books, and any other form of printed media. I always found it frustrating that there is such a lack of dedicated video essay channels for books. After reading something I love, I often go to Youtube to try and find something about it. But except for a few reviews and critiques, there generally isn't much else. Most video essay channels are devoted to films and I love the work they do. I want to bring the same content for the printed medium and hopefully bring the same level of quality to my work. The spark of my ideas also started from the Why You Should Read series by Ted-Ed. Even though those are primarily book recommendation videos... My plan is to emulate their spirit and come up with something new myself. Right now, I'm making 1 video per 1 to 2 weeks.
